This dress is a winner. It bares her toned arms and shoulders. The crochet top is divided in the middle through the black ribbon that pulls them apart creating emphases on the two girly white ribbons while simultaneously teasing the spectators with Gweneth's bare skin just a little beneath the bosoms. It's something you don't see often in the red carpet.
I try to define the story that Gwen and her stylist wanted to portray. Is it a matronly step mother, a cold blooded aristocrat or an aging rich widow? Because if her story is any of these, the dress obviously does not fit.
An angelic dress with touch of modernity, a neat hair that's worn down and a lighter, carefreer make up would best give this Armani Prive gown justice.
So next time you wear this dress, Gwen, drop the matronly up do and lessen the fierceness of your eye shadow, you'll be an angle in the red carpet.
